Shock absorber missing and cord protector cut up

Screwdriver, Pliers, Torx drive

Removed the six screws that secure handle halves together,,,,with flat blade screwdriver gently pried one half of handle off,,removed the two screws that secure cord to handle and one screw that holds switch in place,,,removed the screws that hold wires of cord to switch and also the green ground wire,,,removed the old cord protector and slipped the new one on along with the shock absorber,,,reattached the wires back on the switch and secured the green ground wire to body of saw,,reattached the two screws that secure cord to handle and the one screw that holds switch in place,,,attached the handle halves together with the six screws,,,job completed!!! the only thing to be sure to do is to make sure wires are routed on the slots in handle that are there just for that purpose,,,
