Product Description ?

This is an authentic Senco part that has been OEM sourced and is intended to be used with pneumatic crown staplers. The seal is used to fit around the valve at the top of the cylinder. This item is crucial in preventing air leaks between the valve and the body of the stapler. This item is sold individually.

    Removed exhaust deflector and cylinder upper cover. Removed upper piston assembly and disassembled piston in order to remove inner o-ring, replaced cracked seal and worn o-rings, reassembled, connected air hose, and checked operation. The staple gun performed perfect.

    Staple gun leaking air at the top.

    Wrench Set, Allen Wrench, Heat gun (or blow dryer)

    Parts Used
    Senco PW Crown stapler: O-ring Seal (Part # LB5002)
    Remove 4 top-cap screws using Allen wrench.
    Remove exhaust deflector and top cap.
    Lift out valve assembly from cylinder.
    !! Note the upright orientation of seal for proper replacement of new seal(s)!!
    Remove dry brittle O-ring seal. (Mine was in pieces)
    Use heat gun or blow dryer to heat up the new seal to soften it and make installation easier.
    Install seal onto valve assembly while it is still warm.
    Reassemble valve assembly, top cap, and deflector into/onto the cylinder.
    Test gun. If it still leaks air you may need to replace a different seal, or you may have installed it upside down.

    Took apart the tool and laid out the parts in order . Replaced o rings and completely cleaned the internal areas. Reassembled the stapler and tested ok .
