This #RS030 Bosch 8-hole sander backing pad has a velcro surface to accommodate hook and loop sandpaper. It is a genuine Bosch brand product. Removed the center screw from the old worn pad, then removed the pad. I then installed the new pad with the screw that I removed from the old.

Parts Used
Used an allen wrench to remove the bolt holding the pad on. The bolt had been sealed with loctite to prevent it from vibrating lose, so I had to use a hammer to strike the allen wrench to initiate the bolt breaking lose. Also placed the sander in my vice to hold it securely while replacing the pad. I placed medium strength loctite on the bolt upon reinstallation.
