Parts Used
I removed the blade with the saw's supplied hex key. Once the blade, spacers, and washers were removed I removed the snap ring that secures the blade guard using snap ring pliers. There is a washer that sits right under the snap ring. The blade guard was then able to slide off the saw arbor. To install the new blade guard everything is done in reverse. Make sure to pivot the saw all the way up and off the toe plate to the minimum blade depth to allow for clearance to install the new blade guard.
