Product Description ?

Genuine Manufacturer Approved replacement Wheel Tire for some Makita Bandsaws. This part is made out of Rubber and is Sold Individually. When putting the tire on a band saw Wheel, it may seem too small but it is not. Band saw Tires will typically come approximately 2 or more inches smaller than the Tire you're replacing. The old Tire stretches over time thus becoming less effective and eventually will break. Also, as Tire ages the rubber hardens and allows the Blade to slip. You would need to put the New Tire in Hot/Warm Water to heat the tire enough to make it pliable enough to stretch. Its preferred to use two people in the stretching process.
