Dismantled the part of the handle that held the start/stop switches and determined that there was power to the switches but not out of the switches using an electrical test meter and that the motor still ran okay when the switches were bypassed. It took longer finding the repair parts than it did to do the actual repair. The toughest part was getting all of the wires back into position so that the handle would fit back together properly.
