The part arrived as described. This assembly is a different design than the OEM part (same part number!), the result being the blade drive system on my 2013 (!!!) Toro 30" TimeMaster FINALLY works as the Engineer intended. I believe the OEM part was mis-manufactured, resulting in poor belt engagement (two-piece pulley). The replacement part has a ONE-PIECE pulley, with the correct diameter so the drive belt is fully taut when the clutch is engaged. WOO-HOO!!!

    Not for novice mower mechanic.
These instructions do not address the toothed blade drive/timing belt.
    1. Remove plastic cover from blade drive system (4 screws at front of mower).
    2. Disengage blade drive belt (non-toothed) from pulley-brake.
    3. Remove nut/washer from pulley-brake (3/4" socket; your choice on how to prevent rotation of pulley during nut removal. Pay attention to how tight the nut is.).
    4. Remove pulley-brake and install new one. Tighten nut; don't forget the washer.
    5. Check condition of blade drive belt (non-toothed). If you're to the point of replacing the pulley, chances are the belt is shot. More steps are required to replace the belt, namely, getting the self-propel transmission drive belt out of the way so the blade drive belt can be replaced.
    6. Engage the blade drive belt with the pulley-brake.
    7. Check adjustment of the blade drive clutch. (With engine off and clutch disengaged, I adjusted the cable housing so that initial clutch handle movement resulted in immediate movement of the clutch pulley with no slack.)
    8. Check function of all drive belts and the blade drive clutch:
    - Engaging blade drive clutch results in taut drive belt with no slippage. (Check this with engine off first.)
    - When running, releasing blade drive clutch results in blades slowed to a stop by the brake.
    9. Reinstall plastic cover.
