Product Description ?

This replacement pressure switch is specially designed for Powermate air compressors. It is an authentic item that is sourced directly from original equipment manufacturer. The purpose of a pressure switch is to let your compressor know when to stop and when to start building up pressure in the tank. To complete this repair you would need a wrench set, a nut driver set and a thread-sealing tape.

    Transaction Sucked!!!
Miss-leading write-up and pix on this product. Thought I'd ordered the OEM product pictured; instead I got an after market knock-off that when installed is NOT protected from breaking, with tank dropping back on its' wheels. Also had to be an adaptive install since the replacement was not really a just drop-in install. Very disappointed with this transaction, esp since I could've gotten this knock-off $10.00 cheaper from another online source. Real Bait&Switch!!

Removed old switch, taking a picture of the wiring attachments. Put the new switch in place and re- attached the wires in the same order. Replaced the air tube with new nylon tubing because the old one was too short and the new switch had push type gator fittings. Job done.
Be sure to use tubing that is high pressure rated (150psi) and heat resistant.
