The pressure switch tells your compressor when to stop and when to start building up pressure. There are multiple reasons a pressure switch could be leaking air. Removed the old and replaced it with the new. Make sure to release the air from the tank before disconnecting the old pressure switch.

Disconnected the power source. Unfastened all air lines. Removed cover from the switch, and unplugged the power lines while making note of which set of wires went to which terminals. Unscrewed the pressure switch from the storage tank. Installed pipe nipple to new switch, and reversed the process.
