This replacement pressure switch is specially made for use with Campbell Hausfeld air compressors. The purpose of a switch is to control when compressor stops and when it starts building up pressure. If your pressure switch developed leaks it should be replaced for compressor to operate as intended. This item is sold individually.
Replacing this pressure switch is a relatively easy task. You would need a wrench set, nut driver set and a thread-sealing tape to complete this repair.
• Unplug the unit and drain the tank
• Remove the pressure gauge
• Remove the switch tube
• Remove the pressure regulator assembly
• Disconnect the wires
• Remove the safety valve
• Install the new pressure switch
• Reassemble and test the air compressor
