Product Description ?

This is a genuine manufacturer approved replacement part. It is specially designed for use with handheld sanders. This platen assembly features an easy-to-use paper clamps that can be changed in a flash. Please note screws used to attach it to the sander and the paper punch are both sold separately.

Changing the pad is easy and will only require a screwdriver.

• First remove the screws that secure the pad
• Remove old pad and replace it with the new one
• Secure it using the screws

    Remove the 4 torx screws securing pad to sander, evenly pull old pad up and off sander,clean any dust buildup off of impeller fan, evenly push new pad onto sander, and alternate tightening the screws as to tighten pad evenly on sander.

    Unscrewed four screws pried pad off of bearing. Clean underside of sander . Set pad over bearing tapped lightly on pad to seat bearing in assembly

    Removed the 6 screws holding on the platen and pried off the old platen. Put pressure on center of new platen to force center into hole until the screws could be screwed into place.
