This is an authentic KitchenAid part. This Planetary comes as an assembly that includes the Retaining Clip (part number 9703438), Washer (9706090), Pinion Gear (W10234643), Shear Pin (9707223), and the Agitator Shaft (9708191). This Planetary comes in a White finish. The Planetary is simply replaced by using a hammer, punch, and a pair of flat head screw drivers. The Planetary should be replaced if the bushing has significant wear.

Parts Used
Removed the lock pin from the drive shaft using hammer and drift punch.
Removed the remaining broken pieces of the planetary.
Cleaned the old lubrication from the interior of the gears and shafts.
Removed and burrs from the travel surfaces of the mixer body.
Applied fresh, 'food grade', lubrication to the gears and travel surfaces.
Slid the planetary into place and pressed the pin into the pin boss using the 'c' clamp and wood block.
Set the pin using the hammer and drift punch.
Removed the remaining broken pieces of the planetary.
Cleaned the old lubrication from the interior of the gears and shafts.
Removed and burrs from the travel surfaces of the mixer body.
Applied fresh, 'food grade', lubrication to the gears and travel surfaces.
Slid the planetary into place and pressed the pin into the pin boss using the 'c' clamp and wood block.
Set the pin using the hammer and drift punch.
