    Screwdriver

    Loosen the screws that hold the pivot shoe on and remove the the shoe. Then remove the the insulator boot. Now slide the new boot on the the tool and slide the new shoe in and tighten the screws that hold it on.

    Sawzall blades had cut through the old shoe after it had been bent

    Loosen the two allen bolts on each side of the housing, slide old shoe out and then slide in the new one. Adjust shoe where you would like it , then tighten the screws.

    Pivot assembly wore/cut in half

    Peeled off rubber cover from front of saw.
    Removed four allen-head bolts.
    Removed old pieces.
    Put new pivot assembly on in correct orientation.
    Replaced four allen-head bolts.
    Slid rubber cover back on to saw.
