    Pliers, Nutdriver, Adjustable Wrench, Torqs bits

    Remove the outer casings by removing hold down screws. Remove the carb and clutch. Remove the 4 screws that hold the lower crank cover and remove the crank ,rod and piston. Remove the clips holding in the piston rist pin and then remove the rist pin and piston. Install the new rings on the piston and make sure the gap in the ring is aligned with the pin in the piston ring groove track. Put piston back together on the connecting rod and make sure the rist pin clips are seated in the groves in the piston. Put oil on the piston rings and in the cylinder bore before installing the piston. Install all other parts in reverse order.

    Pliers, torx bit driver

    removed covers, bar and chain, carburetor, muffler, flywheel, clutch then removed engine from frame. Replaced piston and rings in new cylinder and re-assembled. Tested compression which was only 50 psi before repair. Now is 125 psi. Filled with fresh gas and started right up.
