Compressor not building pressure
Remove the four screws that secure the plastic shroud that covers the fan and head assembly. Loosen the compression fitting on the bottom of the head with a wrench or pliers. Then remove the four Allen bolts that secure the head. Inspect gaskets, if damaged replace.. Remove the allen bolt that secures the piston cap and compression ring. Center the new ring in the cylinder and install the ring cap and allen bolt. Assembly is reverse from removal! Easy peasy!!!

The check valve internal seal broke apart,causing air pressure to act like it was filling tanks in about 10 seconds then shutting off compressor,but in reality the air pressure was pushing back agains
1. Remove tube that connects head to check valve, also remove tube from regulator to check valve, remove check valve from tank to inspect internal parts of valve, test condition of valve by blowing into large port of valve while pushing and releasing stem. If working good, problem may be in area of motor field or capacitors.
2. Installed new check valve and needed to slightly bend both tubes for alignment for threading of tube nuts, takes just a little finesse.
3. After removing dust cover, unscrew Allen head bolts which may seem frozen due to thread locker sealant from factory, pull cylinder, remove Allen screw on top of piston
