I checked a you tube video, and seen I needed to make a tool to get the lube under belt. I stapled paper tower pieces onto wood slat and put lube on it one side and slid under belt and moved up and down plate that belt slides on. Did same to front end and back end of slide. saved home made tool for year.

I loosened the belt and worked the lube on the the platen on both sides. Tightened the belt and then turned it on slowly and walk on it moving from side to side for about 5 min. It has reduced the drag and improved the slowing.

Simply raised belt with hand and applied lubrication underneath. Instructions on Proform website. Moved belt by hand to apply lube on entire length of belt.
