Tiller air filter covered in motor oil

1) Removed oil-soaked filter
2) Cleaned excess oil from housing and body
3) Determined oil leak was from poorly seated oil cap (equipment was stored hanging w/ engine oriented upside-down)
4) Replaced oil cap gasket to ensure proper seating.
5) Replaced air filter
*Note: new filter comes pre-coated in air fi lter oil; if the filter is dirty but not damaged it can be cleaned and re-coated with Honda air filter oil (part # 08207-MTL-100)

Honda FG110 tiller very hard to start and once started would stall out when throttle applied.

1. Replaced the carburetorGǪquick and easy
2. Replaced the fuel filter. Snagged the fuel line out of the tank with a clothes hanger. Be sure not to pull too hard so you donGÇÖt disconnect the fuel line inside the fuel tank
3. Replaced the air filter after installing new carburetor..
4. Replaced spark plug. Had to rem ove one screw holding the plastic cover onto the the engine to get to the plug. Removed plug and installed new one.
After the repairs the tiller was as good as new.

Opened Air Filter Housing. Removed Air Filter Housing. Cleaned Air Filter Housing. Installed new air filter. Reattached Air Filter Housing.

Air intake cover plastic broke on Honda roto-tiller

80 pound \'puppy\' chewed the housing(s) off of machine

Simple remove (2) 5/16\" cap screws from housing to carb
replace with new housing, replace the cap screws
air filter element simple push in to housing
air filter cover hooks onto housing and then snaps into place on housing

Finding the correct parts locally was the hardest part of this job...then I remember ed ereplacement parts...the parts needed were in stock and a couple of days later they were received.
