Just what we needed
The part appeared to be an exact replacement and was just what we needed to get the mower working again. After my first order was placed, I received the wrong item and correcting it required canceling my first order, refunding the purchase price, returning the item (at the expense of e-replacements) and starting a new order which arrived promptly. I think the process could have been made easier by simply sending me the correct item and requiring that I return the first item using the provided shipping label. Used automotive jack to raise front end on lawn tractor. Old blades removed using a socket wrench. Good idea to wear heavy gloves to hold blade while loosening the bolt. Parts from e-Replacements were identical to the old parts making the switch out very easy. Belt keeper replacement was also very easy. Not sure why the original one

1 To change the blade I lifted up the tractor with a floor jack as far as i could get it and then chocking the rear wheels so the tractor would not roll back.
2 Then with a impact gun and socket I removed the bolts that held the blades in place.
3 Reversing the procedure first starting the retaining bolts by hand I put the new
... Read more blades on the tractor and lowered the machine.
4 For the tune up I took out the spark plug using my 5/8\" long socket.
5 Reversing the procedure I first gaping the spark plug the the proper specs then putting a light coating of Never Cease on the threads of the spark plug and reinstalled the plug first starting the plug by hand so the threads do not cross and then snugging it down.
6 The air filter I just took the old one out and placed the new one in the same way.
7. The Mulching attachment simply following the direction that came with the item and using the hardware provided.
Jack up Tractor off wheels, removed both wheels on both sides, disconnect & removed cutting assembly under tractor, removed brake clutch cable and replaced all parts & Greased wheel bracket . Removed cutting blades from assembly and replaced blades and installed it back under tractor.
Remove the bolts and washers and remove the blades. Clean underneath the deck. Install the new blades on the shafts and tighten the blade bolts and washers.
Took the mower deck off the tractor cleaned deck from all grass installed new blades tipped tractor on its side removed old drive belt and installed new drive belt also changed spark plug air filter oil filter and oil greased the chassis that was it
