First I drenched the shaft with penetrating oil, then in order to get the stripped bolt off I took a metal cutting wheel and cut a groove in bolt head and used a screwdriver to turn the bolt. I then used an adjustable wrench to hold drive shaft to take out the bolt. I pulled off and removed the spring and metal lock mechanism. I installed

Mow ball had broken, and wanted to do complete refit on trimmer as it\'s over 10 years old.
1. Broke down front assembly and removed v-V belt.
2. Disassembled to pully tensioning system (take a pic before hand to get it back on correctly)
3. Broke down tensioning pulleys and changed to new belt.
4. Replaced tensioning spring (broken) and drive control hookups
5. Reinstalled tensioning pully system and spi

1. The time consumed was trying to remove bolt that no longer had the head. Used drill to create a way to grab the bolt. Used pliers and scewdriver to finally get the bolt out (with the help of wd40)
