Need help finding your model number?Product Description
?This authentic OEM oil filter is specifically designed for use with Generac portable generators. It plays a vital role in maintaining engine performance by removing harmful contaminants from the engine oil, helping to ensure compliance with EPA emission regulations. For optimal performance, it is recommended to replace the oil filter at least once per season. This item is sold individually. To replace the oil filter, use a filter wrench or pipe wrench to twist the old filter counterclockwise and remove it. Clean the sealing surface on the oil filter adapter to remove any debris or residue. Lightly oil the gasket on the new filter with clean engine oil, then screw it in by hand until the gasket makes contact with the adapter. Finally, tighten the filter an additional half to three-quarters of a turn to ensure a secure seal.
