The fan is plastic so it wears quickly so the blade has no grip to spin. I replace it about 3x a summer.

It\'s simple to pop off the nut on the bottom of the mower, slide off the blade and swap the fan. A no brainer.

1. Removed the blade and all associated parts including spacer & fan.
2. Replace Fan spacer and blade tighten all bolts and run engine.

Blade and related parts needed replacement

Removed old blade and parts and inserted new ones. Tightened the new nut. I had not tightened it enough and blade became loose while moving. I had not replaced the spacer correctly so I took everything off and retightened. This time it worked. However, I am now convinced that I should just give an eye inspection to the mower before I star t it.

Electric lawn mower fan blades were broken

Removed mower blade and spacer, then pulled the broken fan off. Placed new fan on mower shaft, replaced the spacer and mower blade and tightened all with 3/4 inch socket and ratchet.

The blade nut was frozen. I had to chisel and cut it off. Then, parts were easily removed and replaced.

The Blade was chipped and needed replacing. The fan was replaced as the other had been on the mower for a long time

Braced the blade in place. Remove it . Cleaned the nut and other attachments and reversed the order of re-assembly. no problems encountered.
