?

This is a Genuine OEM sourced replacement part used on Black and Decker Lawn Mowers. This part is made out of Metal and it is Sold Individually. Battery replacement by simply lifting release lever on top of mower. Lift out old battery and drop in new one. Re-latch the safety lever. Charge the battery.
Blade replacement: Disconnect battery by unlatching it and lifting it out of the battery recess. Use a glove or rag to hold sharp blade, loosen mounting bolt and then remove bo lt, the blade insulator, and the spacer (square washers) to remove old blade. Reassemble in reverse order with new blade (Note: Ensure the side of the blade that is supposed to be facing the grass is facing out on the shaft).

Used adjustable wrench to take off the nut to remove old mower blade and install the new blade. I used a phillips screwdriver to loosen rear axle brackets to lower axle in order to replace rear flap. I was careful not to loosen the height adjustment parts on the right rear wheel. Needed a rubber mallet to loosen old torn flap to remove.

1 replaced the blade first. Simple thing to do. Lock lower square nut in place, remove top nut and replace blade. retighten top nut and your finished.
2. lower handles a little bit harder to do. Remove both lower screws holding on handles and remove right handle first (it\'s the easiest). Left handle a little more difficult since th ere is a tension spring wrapped around the lower part on the handle. You will have to pry it loose & hold on to it while you remove and replace the lower handle. Make sure to replace tension spring around new handle and then tighten everything back up.

I removed the old blade using my socket set and a block of wood to keep the blade from spinning
balanced the new blade
making certain to have the \"grass side\" facing outward I installed \\
I lined up spacers and wit h my socket set tightened it in place
Ran mower to be certain is was tight and proceeded to mow lawns
