Removed the mower deck from mower. The mandrel spindles simply unfolded from deck with help of impact wrench. Replaced in that order. Replaced pulleys. Be careful not to lose the spacer bushing for the idler pulley! The new mandrel spindle bolt holes were not threaded. But the weight that came out of them were tapered fine threaded bolts that will simply thread themselves into the aluminum mandrel spindles. I highly recommend going to a special you faster shop to replace all the bolts that go into the mandrel spindles. It was worth the extra $12!

I used my 2 ton engine lift to raise the lawn tractor mower front end high enough to do the repair job easily. 3 of 5 screws attaching jack-shaft to housing broke. Could not remove the spacer from old main shaft to replace with new shaft. Hardware store for new screws, I had metal tubing on hand to make a new spacer. This old machine i s working again.

Thanks, for having all the parts I needed.
