Genuine Murray replacement part, this item is sold individually. This blade is used on all the Lawn Tractors listed below. Some manufacture send out their blades not completely sharpened (For Liability Proposes). We have an article and video on how to do this in our Repair Center. Or you can have a local lawn shop do this for you. Make sure you put the new Blade on the same way the old on was on.

Drive Belt Broke on Lawn Tractor

Raised Tractor 3 feet above ground to work on it.
Removed old belt making sure to notice it\'s path so I could install the new one.
I took pictures to help with my memory!
Reinstalled new drive belt and plastic pulley (which was broken) but had to loosen rear pulley guides on all pulleys.
Had to unbolt and lift up Steering wheel shaft in order to install new belt properly.
Had to unhook link clip near rear pulley to get new belt on properly.
Tightened everything back in place and no more problems.

Drive belt and drive belt pulley broken, blades was bad deck idler bad

Remove the deck made repairs on it, removed steering column and broken drive belt idler and drive belt guides. Installed new drive and idler, steering column, and belt guides. Reinstalled mower deck.

Use a socket to remove the blade nut and the washers. Note which washer goes where. Remove the old blade, don\'t lose the blade adapter. Place the blade adapter on the shaft then the blade. Place the washers on in the correct order and tighten the blade nut. Your blades FIT EXCELLENTLY.

I used my 2 ton engine lift to raise the lawn tractor mower front end high enough to do the repair job easily. 3 of 5 screws attaching jack-shaft to housing broke. Could not remove the spacer from old main shaft to replace with new shaft. Hardware store for new screws, I had metal tubing on hand to make a new spacer. This old machine i s working again.

Installed the blades on the spindles and replace the washers and tightened the blade nuts

After tractor was lifted and set on block, nut off, old blade off, new blade on. Tightened up and now waiting for rain to stop enough to mow yard

Changed blades and deck height adjustment

1. Put cutting level at lowest setting.
2. Loosen deck wing nut.
3. Raise deck manually to highest point available while deck lever is still at lowest setting.
4. While deck is raised, tighten wing nut.
5. Release deck to see if height remains at lowest level.
6. Select different height settings and observe d eck to ensure it raises and lowers accordingly.
7. Redo steps 2-6 until satisfied with height lever and deck levels.

1. Removed the cutting deck from the mower.
2. Used an impact wrench to dis-assemble and remove the components.
3. Replaced the upper pulleys, the spindle shafts, the shaft housings (mandrills) and the cutting blades.
4. Reassembled the components.
5. Replaced the cutting deck.
