Product Description

?

This is a genuine OEM replacement blade for use on Lawn Mowers. If the blade is too dull it will tear the grass instead of an even cut. A bent or damaged blade can cause serious damage or injuries. You can use this blade with the Recycler Cutting System to chop grass clippings into fine mulch particles and return them to the ground.

Much easier to repair if you work with the mower deck on a workbench up where you can more easily get at both top and bottom of deck. Remove rear wheels and handle assembly. Remove bolts holding rear baffle. Install new baffle and reassemble. Mower working like new!
Then remove the blade bolt, blade support and the old blade. The n install the new blade, the blade support and screw in the blade bolt.

Simply, unplug the spark plug, turn the mower over with the oil fill facing down. Put a block of wood by the blade to keep the blade from spinning. I used a 5/8 socket and took the Bolt-Blade nut off. Replaced the blade and squirted some oil on the Bolt-Blade as I tightened the bolt.

Unbolted appropriate bolts holding belt cover and replaced belt. The guide is held on by two bolts and the belt cover on top of the mower is held by two screws from the bottom. You have to do all work from the bottom of the mower. So have something to lean the mower on so you can access bottom without emptying the gas and oil.

1. Tipped the mower over and removed the blade nut note use a block of wood to hold blade steady. And the two cover plate mounting bolts to cable housing.
2. Install new blade using the same mower bolt. Don\'t forget to use the block of wood to hold blade steady.
3. Turn the mower right side up and install new cable. Run sprin g clip through housing and attach, and push black plastic clip through housing until it clicks into place. Run cable up through cable housing and run S clip into throttle housing. Note don\'t tighten cable until you have run cable through brackets and loop harness. Once installed you can tighten mounting bolt( my model has one bolt on the left hand side of mower handle bar that also holds the throttle lever)
4. Turn mower on it side again and install the two cover plate bolts from underneath and tighten. Total time for both installs 20 minutes.
One other note tip the mower on its side with gas tank facing up or you\'ll have a gas puddle on the ground.
