Got busy do something else and forgot about burners on high (for preheat) for about 30 minutes, thus burning out starters and effecting burner tubes where they no longer burned efficiently.

I replaced the battery, igniter module and the wire parts that go to the burner. Still no GÇÿclickGÇÖ. I examined the igniter button that houses the battery and noted that the copper terminals were dull grey and oxidized. I used a Tiny Swiss pocket knife , scraped off the oxidation until I could see shiny copper. This resolved the problem .

First know that a replacement grill was at 600 bucks. So went online and found toasted parts for less than 200. Replaced igniter wires only removing 4 screws. Instructions were spot on. Replaced knobs and cleaned the inlets for gas. Oh to replace knob. Take one off put one on. No instructions needed. The parts not available on Ereplaceme nt they actually give other resources that have nothing to do with them. Impressive and they lead to parts that had been discontinued. Bottom line is a new grill for less than 200 and only 20 min repair. Win Win.
