This replacement pleated circular filter is a genuine manufacturer sourced item that is designed for use with Bissell vacuums. It is used to trap the dust and other contaminants the unit picks up. It can be cleaned, however over time it will get too clogged and will need to be replaced. It is made from durable pleated paper material in a plastic frame and it is sold individually, please note the foam filter is sold separately.

Remove the pleated filter
Remove the lock lever and filter
Remove the foam filter
Replace the filter remove
Install the part in reverse

Really easy to replace all parts. After doing so I vacuumed and it seems to be picking up a lot more dirt. It was also very easy to find my parts on your website.

Took the bottom plate off, reinstalled the new parts...works like new. Ereplacement parts has easy to find parts, also very quick in shipping. VERY SATISFIED!!

Key burning belts, wouldn\'t suck properly, handle wouldn\'t stay in the up position.

Removed handle securing screws in order to replace broken lever release, re assembled screws to hold up handle.
Remove base plate and r&r brush roller and new belt with new base cover.
R & R filter with new one
Vacuum works like new
