Screwdriver

Remove screws on side panel of handle, remove original switch, disconnect wires, connect the wires to the new switch, position the switch and reapply the panel to the handle with the screws.
Remove retainer plastic screw-down holding in the original carbon brush from one side of the motor, slide the new brush into place and screw in the hold-down. Repeat the process for the other brush.
Plug the machine in and test. It started up and ran perfectly.
