    Unscrewed the handle, unplugged four wires from the switch, plugged wires back into the new switch and replaced the handle.

    Remove wiring to switch
    Remove switch

    First switch was defective
    Second switch had a broken spring for securing wire.

    No power through the switch

    Removed one handle half, removed the cord clamp. Made a wiring diagram of the switch. Removed the wires from the old switch. Installed the wires into the new switch. Installed the cord clamp, then screw the handle back on.
