Product Description ?

This replacement muffler is supplied directly from the original equipment manufacturer for use with Yard Man and Troy-Bilt lawn tractors. The purpose of a muffler is to reduce the noise from the engine\\\'s exhaust. Over time it may wear out or get clogged eventually requiring a replacement to ensure peak performance. It is a high-quality metal body component which is sold individually. Please note, the hardware to secure it is sold separately.

Muffler broke off from the exhaust pipe

Screwdriver, Socket set

Fairly simple process. Remove the engine cover. Unbolt the front bumper guard. Unbolt the muffler shroud. Unbolt the exhaust inlet pipe from the engine block and switch the old muffler diverter to the new muffler. Every bolts back into place easy. You may have to watch for stripped screws on the diverter.

Muffler weld broke and muffler fell off at the intake.

Broken muffler

Removed what was left of the of the old muffler by removing a bolt and an allen screw , and then removed the muffler diverter from the old one and screwed it to the new one. Installed the new one and I was back business
