New engine, just needed muffler.

Just attached w/ bolts and gasket provided. 'bout 4 minutes work. (took me longer to find the misplaced socket set!!)

Muffler burnt/rusted out.

Removed three bolts and took off old muffler, then replaced with new muffler and replaced the bolts.
