2. Remove all screws holding the damaged motor housing together.
3. Pry off one half of the damaged housing to expose the motor and gear assembly.
4. Remove the gear assembly from the other half of the damaged motor housing.
5. Remove two screws from the motor power cord hold down plate to free the motor cord from the damaged motor housing assy.
6. Remove the other half of the damaged housing to expose the motor.
7. Place the motor into the new motor housing half.
8. Secure the motor power cord in the new housing by screwing the motor power cord hold down plate.
9. Insert the new gear assembly into the new motor housing assembly half
10. Place the remaining new half over the motor and gear assembly.
11. Make sure you have the head rotation release button positioned properly
12. Screw the two motor housing halves together
13. Replace the string guard.
