Tools Used

Screwdriver, Pliers, Power Drill, Wire stripper, wire crimper. Modified butt connector

Removed cap on the router, started unplugging wires from the old module and plugging them into the proper location one the new one. Once enough wireless were disconnected I pulled the old module out of the router only to discover that one of the wires on the module has a factory connector where it goes from braided copper to solid copper for the coil pack on the motor. That wire had come out of its plastic retainer and rubbed through the insulation on the motor. Turned into disassembling the whole router and reconnecting the two wires. Put all back together with original parts. Works like brand new.
