My nephew ran over my battery operated circular saw during a heavy rainstorm. The guard was broken and the blade was bent.

1. I removed the broken plastic guard and took off the blade.
2. I straightened the blade as well as I could and tried it. I didn't want to mess with it if the saw didn't work. It worked fine.
3. I put the new guard and blade on.
4. It is as good as new.
5. Oh yeah, I'm a 72 year old female.
