Perfect replacement for broken blade guard except for fastener.
Easy fix for blade guard that broke when saw accidentally dropped from ladder. Only issue was a missing screw in "kit" - a small metric machine screw is used to attach blade retraction handle to the guard. This screw is NOT included. You must first remove blade and a few Phillips fasteners to remove fixed guard and ring holding retractable portion in place.

Parts Used
Remove top blade guard attached by 3 screws. Removed the blade with blade wrench and removed the nut. Removed blade. Removed lower washer under blade with an extended neck. Removed spring from blade guard and removed blade guard. Reversed to install the new unit. The part that I had broken was the lever that attaches to the movable blade guard. The lever is held on with a screw.
