The door closer lower cam is fitted onto the refrigerator or freezer door bottom hinge, and is designed to keep it from shutting onto the liner. This durable plastic component is sold individually. A socket, driver and a ratchet are needed for the proper repair. Please unplug appliance prior to making the replacement.

1. Removed top cover plate, revealing upper hinge.
2. Loosened and removed hinge.
3. Lifted door off.
4. removed and replaced lower and upper cams.
5. re-assembled in reverse order. Boom. Done. 10 min.
