This part is an OEM from Whirlpool for use with Refrigerators. The door closer cam raises the door to keep the door from touching the refrigerator liner when the door is closed. The most common reasons for replacing the closing cam are when the fridge door slips down when opened, doesn’t open smoothly, or doesn’t close by itself. This part is sold individually. The tools that you will need to replace the door closer cam are a multi screwdriver, slotted screwdriver, and a combo wrench. Before you begin, unplug your appliance and disconnect the water supply.

1. Removed top cover plate, revealing upper hinge.
2. Loosened and removed hinge.
3. Lifted door off.
4. removed and replaced lower and upper cams.
5. re-assembled in reverse order. Boom. Done. 10 min.
