Two old knife lifting plugs were rust-welded in the cutterhead

I was trying to set the blades on my Powermatic 60 jointer and discovered that 2 of the old knife lifting plugs were rust welded in the cutterhead. I tried several rust-busters including PB Blaster, candle wax, propane torch, acetone/ATF fluid and WD-40 to bust the rust to no avail. The 1/8" allen head wrenches would not allow me to put adequate force to break the rust-weld. I finally drilled 1/8" holes from the backside of the cutterhead and was able to drive these plugs out using a punch. The allen screws were rusted and I could not get them out, even after removal from cutterhead. I could not proceed until replacement plugs were obtained. I searched the web and found these and ordered them. They arrived quickly and I was able to proceed on installing and setting the cutter blades. I used rolled sandpaper to remove as much rust as possible from the cutterhead ports and then used Ospho to kill any remaining rust. I lubricated all the knife plugs with Royal Purple at installation.
