    chuck would not hold the drill bits tight

    , torx bit and allen wrench

    remove the retaining screw for the chuck and put allen wrench inn the chuck and hit it with a hammer to loosen. retaining screw is left handed threads and the chuck is right handed threads

    Keyless Chuck was broken

    Screwdriver, pipe wrench

    1. Had to take drill apart.
    2. Put gear and chuck in vise between two pieces of soft wood.
    3 Remove old chuck with pipe wrench.
    4. Put on new chuck with lock tight.
    5. Reinstall gear and chuck in drill.
    6. Drill good as new again.

    1. Removed reverse-thread chuck screw.
    2. Twisted off the chuck - some WD-40 required.
    3. Twisted on new chuck.
    4. Inserted and tightened chuck screw - done!
