This ceramic flat-style igniter measures approximately 3-3/4 inches in length and comes with a mounting bracket and nut. It has an amperage range of 3.2 to 3.6 amps. If the igniter fails to glow white or there is no ignition when you turn on the oven, it needs to be replaced. You can also conduct a continuity test to determine if it is faulty. When replacing the igniter, be cautious not to touch the delicate black element part. To remove the igniter, take out the oven racks and release screws or nuts securing the bottom. Slide out the flame spreader and proceed with the igniter replacement. Disconnect the old igniter by accessing it in the rear panel of the oven or in the bottom left corner of the oven cavity. Install the new igniter, and connect the wires using wire nuts if necessary. This igniter is sourced directly from the original equipment manufacturer and includes a mounting nut and instructions for installation.
