2. Remove all screws
3. Use small Flathead to pry open the housing
4. Take a picture of the the inside of the impact (wires, motor, etc.). This helps when reinstalling.
5. Remove all components
6. Install all components into one side of new housing. Reference picture during this step.
7. Place other half of new housing onto the side with components.
8. Tighten both sides of housing with screws from step 2.
9. Test it out to see if everything is working, especially the trigger.

On the brushless, you definitely have to make sure the motor housing is in the case otherwise, the motor will not turn

2 take the screw out and take everything apart
3 then put everything in the new housing put the screws back and bingo the impact looks like new thank you

2 remove the top case
3 remove motor switch battery connector
4 put motor switch battery connector into bottom case
5 put top case on
6 replace all Phillips screws
7 test impact
dropped the drill and it broke the case
