1: Tried impact driver for function before removing battery. It functioned fine with broken housing.
2: Put the new housing from ereplacementparts.com beside broken housing Bosch impact driver.
3: Removed all screws and clips from broken housing taking pictures of how everything disassembled.
4. Transferred internal components to new housing.
5: Verified all wires and components were withing housing frame where bolts would be installed.
6: Carefully plugged battery in while unit was open to test function. Everything worked perfect.
7: Installed all clips and screws and torqued them down.
8: Installed battery and tested all functions.
9: Everything worked perfectly and new housing was an exact match. Like when new!!
