    Fixing something I didn't brake
The wiring harness that I purchased worked perfectly, the mower started right up after the replacement was finished, was very easy to replace, it really helps when you get the right part the first time. Thank you so much

Mice make a home in the lawn tractor by chewing the wiring to make room.

Normally, mice just chew through a couple of wires, which is easily repaired with wire splicers, but this time the entire dash wiring was chewed up beyond repair. The steering wheel, dash panel and fuel tank was removed for access to the damaged wiring. It was determined that the harness from the ignition switch to the starter solenoid had to be replaced. When the new harness arrived, it was just a simple matter of laying the new one next to the old one, disconnecting the old and connecting the new. The battery was reconnected and the engine spun to make sure everything was hooked up correctly. Then, the fuel tank, dash panel and steering wheel was reinstalled and the engine started.

Squirrel ate the wiring behind dashboard for third time. So many splices, so I decided to replace harness.

Remove gas tank, steering wheel and dash. Traced and unplug old harness one plug at a time and plug in new one at same time. That way no confusion about where everything goes.
