1. Installed spring Washers and detent ball in place.
2. Slipped guide sleeve in place and installed snap ring on shaft.
3 . Set snap ring in place using a small pick to ensure ring was fully in groove.

First I placed the ball into the anvil, then placed the sleeve over the anvil, then placed the spring and the washer into the sleeve. Then used a small pick to press the retaining ring into the slot at the end of the anvil.
