This part is an OEM from the GE manufacturer. The evaporator fan grommet is constructed of plastic, and is designed for use with many refrigerators. The grommet helps to keep the appliance running quiet and at a proper temperature. In the freezer, the grommet is fitted in back of the evaporator cover. A screwdriver, nut driver and needle nose pliers are required for making the replacement. The evaporator fan grommet is sold individually.
