First time to change blades on a Dewalt planer that was donated. Planer worked great but blades had nicks that left rough spots. Bought new blades but the gauges needed to set the proper depth were missing. Tried to manually set depth on new blades. The planer chewed up the wood every time after several attempts to readjust. Ordered new gauges from ereplacement. Gauges were an exact match to the originals. Installed and set the new blades in less than 15 minutes. Planer cuts perfectly.
