easy to replace to make vacuum fully functional again
I routinely use my Dyson to clean up the hearth while burning wood during winter. Unfortunately, sometimes this results in picking up a hot ember. On what such occassion, I did this and didn't see it and it burnt/melted this gasket. The replacement was easy. It was easy to find and order.

1. Removed cyclone assembly and debris canister/bin assy from the main vacuum body
2. Separated the cyclone assembly from the bin.
3. Added the FDC Seal to the protruding tube of the cyclone assy. orienting it correctly to fit on to the base of the bin assy and aligning the seal ridges with the cyclone assy tube ridges.
4. Reassemble and check bin for debris accumulation.
