Does not fit.
The center hole is too small; it is not notched for the key-way on the fan shaft; and it is not slotted off the end so the stock compression collar can hold the fan onto the the fan shaft. I verified it is the correct part for the Nutone SM6500 fan hood. NOT impressed.

Remove both filters, then holding the motor with one hand I was able to pull the old fan off. Then I pressed the new fan on. Then replaced the filters

Remove motor from brace, and unplugged the wiring. Fan blade was not easy to remove and replace with new blade, but with a little muscle, done.

Replaced fan that was very noisy that had a cracked blade and install new filter

Removed filter that was a type supplied for a vented installation then grasped fan carefully with both hands and apply steady pressure until fan was removed from spindle. Blade on spindle is
a press fit so will be tight. Place new fan blade on spindle and hold steady and give a firm hit in center of blade with mallet to start blade on spindle. Keep doing firm but careful hits to seat new blade until spindle is completely through new blade. Install new filter which is correct part for a non vented installation which is how I'm using it.
Parts that were ordered were exact OEM replacements parts which made the repair easy and simple. So nice to do a repair that will last a long time and to also know that when filters or other parts may be needed you can rely on e-replacement parts to provide the proper parts and to get them to you in a timely fashion !
