2. Un-plug positive and negative leads (remember which is which) from motor and remove old speed control board and battery contactor assy. (They just slide out)
3. Installed new board and battery contactor assy and re-connected motor leads.
4. Put case halves back together, being careful to not have any of the wires pinched between the posts that meet together when the case halves are joined. Also make sure the slide switch engages the slide potentiometer and make sure the rotor lock button and spring are put back.
For the advanced technician: Replace the shorted Power Fet(s) on the motor control board for next time that you may need this board again.

2)Remove battery pack.
3)Remove clip on battery end with blade screwdriver.
4)Remove five Phillips screws to carefully split body in half.
(Note the position of the components in the body that follows.)
5)Remove spring loaded spindle lock.
6)Pull leads of circuit board off battery.
7)Remove circuit board assembly.
8)Install new circuit board assembly carefully tucking wires to facilitate closing body halves.
9)Reverse remaining steps for full assembly.
10) Enjoy
