Installed the new platen with the four screws.
Pulled the old dust bag off, then pushed the new one on.

The platen had come apart and sandpaper wouldn't stay on, dust bag was worn

Removed the old platen by removing four screws from the old one, and installed the new one it by screwing it to the sander. Removed the dust bag and pushed the new one on.

The Platen mounting holes were rounded out larger than the head of the screw.

Removed the 4 mounting screws and put them in the new platen and reinstalled on sander. The dust bag just slipped in place.
